We had a nice, relaxing Fathers Day. We went for our walk this morning and grilled steak for dinner. Emma continues to make us laugh every day. She still isn't walking - it will happen one day. She has officially moved into the next size up car seat. We love how we can actually see her when we look in the back seat since it isn't rear facing. She is very smart and when she sees mommy brushing her hair she will then take the brush and try to brush her own hair. She also tries to put her own shoes on. Believe me, she doesn't even come close to succeeding but she knows that the shoe somehow goes on the foot. She even tries to put Jay's big size 11 shoe on her foot which is hilarious. Yesterday while we were out to dinner the waitress gave Emma a little kid menu with crayons. I thought to myself "Geez lady,a little premature on the crayons are we?" But I didn't say anything and I took the crayon out of its package and handed it to Emma. I was really expecting her to try and eat it but after showing her what to do with it she managed to scribble a little on her menu!! What a genius our child it!
